Kuwait is initiating a second phase of offshore drilling, following a successful first campaign that discovered 4.5 billion barrels of oil equivalent. The new campaign will include drilling 17 additional wells and conducting a 3D seismic survey. The first phase, which began in August 2022, has already proven the petroleum systems for multiple fields.
