Invinity Energy Systems has completed the Copwood VFB Energy Hub in East Sussex, which will be Europe's largest vanadium flow battery installation with a capacity of 20.7MWh. The system, paired with a 3MW solar array, will store excess solar energy for use during peak demand periods, reducing reliance on gas-fired generation and lowering emissions. The project also supports UK manufacturing and clean technology jobs.
