EPRI, Prologis, NVIDIA, and InfraPartners announced a collaboration to develop smaller-scale data centers for AI inference. The micro data centers, ranging from 5 to 20 megawatts, will be located near utility substations to optimize grid capacity and reduce transmission congestion. The goal is to establish at least five pilot sites across the U.S. by the end of 2026.
