Oman has awarded its first round-the-clock renewable energy project, a 2.7GW capacity plant, to the newly created state firm O-Green. The project will provide approximately 770MW of continuous energy and aims to increase renewable energy generation to 30% of the national total by 2030. The Power Purchase Agreement was signed by Nama Power and Water Procurement on May 17.
