Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture between QatarEnergy and Exxon Mobil, has produced its first liquefied natural gas at its Texas facility. The plant is expected to export its first cargo in the second quarter and will have a capacity of 18 million metric tons per annum once fully operational. QatarEnergy holds a 70% stake, while Exxon owns 30%.
