TerraPower and Meta have entered an agreement to develop up to 8 Natrium advanced nuclear plants in the U.S., providing up to 2.8 GW of carbon-free baseload energy. The Natrium technology includes energy storage capabilities that can boost output to 4 GW. Initial units are expected to be delivered as early as 2032.
