Sentinel Midstream has begun construction on the Texas GulfLink, a deepwater crude oil export terminal located 30 miles off Freeport, Texas. The terminal will be capable of fully loading very large crude carriers (VLCC) and aims to connect North American crude oil to global markets. The project is funded by a U.S.-Japan trade agreement and has received the necessary approvals from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
